Joergen's first Thanksgiving was blissfully calm and relaxing. We went to York to Nana and Grandpa's house for the long weekend and had so much fun visiting and eating (and did I mention eating?). Joergen was festive in his turkey day bib-- the same one his big brother wore just 2 years ago!
Liam helped teach GG how to do puzzles on the iPad:
Meanwhile, Chef Nana created an awesome feast!
Grandpa carving the bird:
Joergen enjoyed a pureed turkey dinner (yummy), and then we went ahead and put a little cranberry and mashed potatoes on his tray. Overall, he was happy exploring and trying new tastes.
Some after-dinner relaxation:
Cuddling with Nana the next morning:
We spent a lot of time on Friday not shopping but swimming! Liam and Joergen took to the waters at GG's, and were so excited that Aunt Jackie and Colin joined us as well. (GG has some fun pics of Colin and Joer floating along in a little duck boat together-- it was beyond cute!!)
Aunt Jackie and Colin spent Friday night at Nana and Grandpa's house, and I just loved having a little time wtih my new nephew. He is such a sweet, curious, and alert little guy!
Can't wait to see them again in just a few weeks for Colin's baptism-- and to welcome Uncle Tim home from his deployment!
