Joergen's 5th Birthday

How is it possible that my sweet baby boy is already 5?!

Joergen's 5th birthday fell on Holy Saturday, and although he'd already had his big birthday bash with his brother at SkyZone, there was still much fun to be had!

Opening his present from Aunt Doreen and Uncle Sam the day before his birthday- he couldn't wait!

Joergen was SO happy to have Lilly as our house guest for his birthday while the G-willies were in Germany. That was a gift in itself :)

On Saturday afternoon, we went as a family to go see Zootopia, the new Disney movie. It was great!

After the movie, Joergen wanted to get a cheeseburger at Red Robin-- one of his favorite burger spots.

Back at home, it was time to open presents. Quite a haul, little man!

We surprised Joergen with his big gift from us: a new bike! He had been riding Liam's old Cars bike for so long and had clearly outgrown it, so he was thrilled to get one of his very own.

This year, both Liam and Joergen wanted to celebrate their birthdays with a party at trampoline park. Since their birthdays are only a month apart, we decided to let them meet in the middle and have a joint celebration.. which happened to fall on my own birthday weekend. So much to celebrate!

The boys were thrilled to each get to invite a few friends to join them at SkyZone for their 5th and 7th birthdays. It didn't take long for everyone to *jump* into action!

After an hour or so of jumping, it was off to the "party room" for some pizza and cake.

Back at home, the kids tried out some of their new birthday presents with their cousins. The biggest hit was a game called "Looping Chewie"-- so much fun!

That night, since we had some babysitters around, Anthony took me out for a birthday celebration of my own at the Melting Pot-- one of our favorites! Look at the cute candle they put in my pound cake before dessert!

Back on the home front... three kids in a toy box :)

On Sunday, celebrations continued as it was my actual birthday, and I loved having so many little helpers!

Nana even made me a chocolate mint pie for dessert!

Since Nana and Grandpa were here and Joergen's actual birthday was right around the corner, he was SO excited to get to open his birthday present from them.
