We were so excited to find out that Uncle Tim was going to be flying in the McGuire Air Show this past Saturday. McGuire AFB is only about an hour or so away from us, and we couldn't wait to get to see Uncle Tim fly! So when he called on Friday afternoon to say that they had finished pre-flight preparations early and he could make it out to KoP in time for dinner, that's what we call gravy :) None of the boys' aunts or uncles live anywhere near us, so to have him come unexpectedly for dinner was just awesome!
Before firing up the grill for pizza, Liam asked Uncle Tim if he'd take him for a little bike ride around the neighborhood. I don't think Uncle Tim was exactly ready for take-off!
Liam loves speeding down that hill on his trike, that's for sure!

It was such a great way to relax on a Friday evening and enjoy some time together before our big day at the Air Show (which deserves a post of its own-- stay tuned!).
