Aunt Jayne's Big 9-0

Great Great Aunt Jayne's 90th birthday was back in September, so a few people got together to celebrate:

Now that's a party!!

It was so much fun to be all together, and especially to see Aunt Jayne's grandchildren-- some of whom I hadn't seen in 20 years.  We were a little overdue :)  Here's the birthday with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren:

Liam, Dillon, and Gilbey stayed at Nana and Grandpa's house with babysitters, while Joergen and Anneke hung out in GG's apartment with a sitter of their own so that they were close to their mommas.  Come bedtime, however, Joergen's slumber was short-lived... so he rocked some bed-head and joined the party!

The next morning, back at Nana and Grandpa's house, I walked into the room where Liam had been sleeping to check on him, only to find him sitting up awake in his "big boy bed." With an ear-to-ear smile he yelled, "Mom!! You're BACK!!"


We ended up with a little wake-up party of our own then... and the guest of honor was clearly little Lilly!
